Nayarit Jackfruit Food-Production and Development 2022 Conference.

Our General Director, Adam Tafazoli, has been invited by Nayarit State Government and Science Institutions to present a conference regarding the opportunities for exporting products with added value by applying innovations to their fresh produce. The session will include open Q&A that will give farmers the opportunity to contact strategic partners.

EVENT: 1st National Virtual Forum on Innovation and Social Appropriation of Technologies in Mexico.

Adam Tafazoli, was invited to present a 1-hour conference on the subject: “Exportation Business Development as the foundation of Sustainability in Mexico” for the first National Virtual Forum organized by Federal Scientific and Government institutions in order to promote the conversations needed between private companies, scientific communities, and government participation that can lead to social and environmental integration.

With the aim of promoting actions to strengthen food sovereignty in Mexico, a general scientific and technological collaboration agreement was signed between the Center for Research in Food and Development (CIAD) and the association Guerreros del Viento.

Dr. Seyed Hossein Goldansaz, the Dean of UTCAN, and Dr. Pablo Wong Gonzalez, Director of CIAD hold talks on boosting mutual collaboration in a video conference in which Mr. Hosseni, Iranian ambassador to Mexico, and many other colleagues from Iran and Mexico attended, which ended with the official signing of an MOU.

PROJECT: Design, construction, business development, and export distribution of Dried Mango factory in Tomatlan, Jalisco.

May 15, 2020

Our team came together to design a fully operating industrial dried mango factory with exportation capabilities in a small town that lacked jobs and opportunities for its population.

These facilities were able to generate over 220 direct and indirect jobs in the region which has been a huge positive impact on a town with only 1500 people that live there.

PROJECT: Exportation and Added Value Development for Bee and honey production in the Western Region of Mexico.

December 20, 2019

Un Mundo Con Puentes was called upon to fully design a commercial total export strategy with added value, final product selection, along with the international markets that would detonate regional economic development for honey in Jalisco, Nayarit, and Michoacan in Mexico. The project is directed by CIAD and the Federal government which seeks to stimulate the creation of a thriving bee production in the area that would impulse natural pollination and increase food production.

NEWS: Dr. Mohammad Taghi Hosseini, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mexico, visits CIAD in Hermosillo, Sonora.

The Ambassador was presented with some of the scientific and technological research projects that the institution is currently carrying out on the subject of food and regional development. Pablo Wong González, general director of CIAD expressed his gratitude for this visit, which he hopes can lay the foundations for academic and scientific collaboration, as well as the exchange of Mexican and Iranian researchers.

NEWS: Collaboration Signing between CIAD & UMCP to promote Nayarit Agro-Industry Exports.

In order to promote the agro-industry sector in Nayarit, the Food and Development Research Center (CIAD) and UMCP have signed a collaboration agreement that will create an agenda for the promotion of CIAD's research projects, as well as its technological development and innovation, that will connect local farmers with the exportation agro-industrial sector.

PROJECT: Fresh Avocado Exports from Nayarit, Mexico to Dubai, UAE upon completion of strict certification control.

October 17, 2018

Through rigorous production processes and quality control of avocado fields in the Nayarit regions of Mexico, compliances were able to be reached for international markets. This allowed UMCP to successfully export fresh avocados via AIR to Dubai. This distribution channel allowed local farmers to be paid twice as much as their initial offers which have stimulated healthy economic growth in the region.

EVENT: 1st National Forum of Science, Technology, and Innovation in Mexico.

August 9, 2018

UMCP and its participation allowed for talks with the General Director, Dr. Enrique Cabrero, about the projects carried out in Nayarit according to the Federal Innovation Development Plan.

Dr. Cabrero provided full support for the proposed innovation project by UMCP in Nayarit along with CIAD that would create biodegradable disposables from natural mango waste that is generated in tons by the dehydrated and aseptic pulp mango industries in Nayarit.
